Custom

In addition to producing made-to-order fixtures in standard configurations, our studio has a robust customization program in which we are able to manipulate the size, shape and design of a fixture to perfectly fit a space. We also offer a range of custom metal and glass finishes in addition to the standard options seen above.

Designs start with a sketch or drawing, which our team translates into a precise 3D CAD model and spec sheet. If required by the design, we will even mock up the piece 1:1 in our studio.

We welcome custom inquiries. Please contact our sales team to discuss your project.

About the Clamp Collection

For generations, heavy clamps were used to anchor elements together during the construction and farming process. These sculptural hunks of metal, as beautiful as they are practical, largely are obsolete, but we have made it our mission to search the country for them, turning their history and strength into unique lighting fixtures, pendants and chandeliers. After they are carefully replated (letting their original markings shine through), our glassmaker blows directly into each one, then tightens the clamp on the molten material to fashion an armature. Using different sized clamps and a variety of chains, with glass that can range from pale grey tint to an indulgent white-on-white cane pattern, we twist the effect, softening the tough-edged industrial implement while celebrating its legacy.

Authentic and Made in America

Drawing from an innovative palette of materials, our lights are crafted with an irrational level of collaboration in New York City with help from our long-standing network of American suppliers. They are born from countless hours of sketching and prototyping, many dirty hands, and a passion for rigorous industrial design. With proper care, they should last forever.
