Custom

In addition to producing made-to-order fixtures in standard configurations, our studio has a robust customization program in which we are able to manipulate the size, shape and design of a fixture to perfectly fit a space. We also offer a range of custom metal and glass finishes in addition to the standard options seen above.

Designs start with a sketch or drawing, which our team translates into a precise 3D CAD model and spec sheet. If required by the design, we will even mock up the piece 1:1 in our studio.

We welcome custom inquiries. Please contact our sales team to discuss your project.

About the Burst Collection

Burst embodies harmony and counterpoint. A celebration of contrasts, it uses the aesthetic language first developed for Branching Bubble, reinterpreted through its own dynamic geometry. A sharp-edged starburst, among its influences, are the elegant angles of medieval weaponry and the contrapuntal art of Ikebana—Japanese flower arrangement—where some stems are spikey and others nod in full bloom. The fixture echoes as well the jeweled brooches designed by the Parisian couturier Jeanne Lanvin in the 1930s, with weighty settings and a balance of bold real and faux gems. Hand-blown globes by Michiko Sakano alternate with glass spikes, as well as barnacle-like spheres rolled in 24-karat gold and finished with projections that resemble tiny bee stingers. With the luminous presence of dark bouquet lit from within, Branching Burst is moody yet buoyant, a bit rebellious, confident and expressive.

Authentic and Made in America

Drawing from an innovative palette of materials, our lights are crafted with an irrational level of collaboration in New York City with help from our long-standing network of American suppliers. They are born from countless hours of sketching and prototyping, many dirty hands, and a passion for rigorous industrial design. With proper care, they should last forever.
